Take the C7, make it a a Cadillac, make it look similar to this:
Take the LT1 out of the C7, put it in something small, sell it for $30k
Also bring the Astra VXR over as a Buick, bring back Saturn as an Eco brand with extreme efficiency/electric cars, revive the El Camino, and make a modern Roadmaster, complete with wood panelling
I'd put the company out of business in a year, but it'd be an awesome year

Nooooo, you've got it all wrong! I would discontinue all model except for the following: Corvette, Camaro, CTS V and ATS coupe and build this:

Fun fact! The new Camaro is going to be on the longer wheelbase Alpha configuration shared with CTS, rather than the ATS (allegedly). Small RWD car possible?....

Front drive above the compact level would be dead. Each model would have a full line sedan, coupe, and wagon (maybe convertible too). Also coupes would be hardtops. Basically it will be the sixties again.

Believe it or not, I saw 2 of those XLR's today (1 black, 1 white), on the same street. I hardly ever see them, so that was kind if neat.

oh god yes the XLR was badass and I'm pretty sure I love you after that Roadmaster quip.

If GM tried it again and gave the engineers more leeway it would be great.

I think Saturn was about to go the route you'd be taking them right before they closed. Totally something GM needs. It's be like what Prius basically is to Toyota.
I had the same, literally the exact same idea for the XLR.
I think the 130R needs the small 2.8L V6 that's in the Euro Insignia. Maybe only N/A.
Buick NEEDS a Wagon. They just do. They've always had wagons. Just bring over the Insignia as a Regal wagon.
Three words. Chevy SS Ute.
Instead of bringing the Astra over, just make a Sonic SS. Then bring over the Cruze hatchback and make a Focus ST fighting Cruze SS.
